Photo Requirements

For the most accurate facial analysis and rating, please follow these strict photo guidelines. Our algorithm relies on precise landmark detection, which can easily be distorted by poor lighting or incorrect camera angles.

• Lighting: Face a window or a bright light source. Ensure lighting is even on both sides of your face to avoid false asymmetry measurements.
• Camera Angle: Hold your device exactly at eye level. Do not tilt your head up, down, or to the side. Look straight into the lens.
• Expression: Keep a completely neutral facial expression. Relax your jaw and lips. Do not smile, squint, or frown.
• Distance: Hold the camera about an arm's length (2-3 feet) away to prevent lens distortion (which makes the nose appear larger and face narrower).
• Visibility: Remove glasses, hats, and pull your hair away from your forehead and cheekbones. Avoid heavy makeup that alters your natural bone structure.
